With our morning walk around Kilkenny finished, car was packed, we set of to drive to Killarney our next overnight stay.
On the way we stopped in Waterford to visit the crystal shop and factory,  and explore the town.
After our visit to the crystal shop we walked around town to look at the Viking triangle, street art and shops, had some lunch then set of for Blarney.

Blarney Castle, the tour takes three hours and is guided tour, when you get to the stone, it is quite difficult to get Down to kiss
it, not for me,
apparently if you kiss the stone you are gifted with eloquence and the gift of the gab, I feel that is something I do not need.

Admission time and prices.

Cara and I had Devonshire tea, whilst the boys had a beer.

After our castle visit, we went to the Blarney wooden mills for a peruse, DH bought a shirt..

Blarney Castle in the distance, it is quite a hike to get to the castle and some assistance is required with some awkward steps and slight hills..

In Killarney we went to Murphy’s pub and had cottage pie, stuffed lamb  and Irish stew.

A very large trout that did not get away.
