A wrap up of Barcelona, onto Wales, Ireland, Dublin and Kilkenny.

We had three fun filled and very busy days in Barcelona, enjoying what this city has to offer.
DH and I walked quite a few kms, exploring the sights. The old city was especially quaint with the narrow streets and La Caterdal was among these streets. We visited the Picasso museum and Sant Pau which used to be a hospital, now a museum.

After our visit in Barcelona, we flew to Manchester, to spend two days with our friends Joanna and Alan. Jo and  Alan picked us up and we then drove back to their place to have some relaxation and catch up at their home in Wales

We had a lovely dinner party and met some of their friends, this gave me the opportunity to do some cooking as well.

We also visited a polish supermarket and they sold the best rollmops, which DH and I enjoyed. Alas the visit was very short, but great to reconnect with our dear friends, till we meet again!

For the next day we fly to Dublin from Manchester, meet up with the kids and do our 12 day tour around Ireland,  Tuesday we flew to Ireland , Dublin from Manchester, met the kids at the airport in Dublin, picked up our hire car and set off to drive to Kilkenny, our first stop in Ireland..
