Riga, Part 2

I will finish of our tour of Riga, so many photos that I would like to post, but as I photograph nearly everything that I like, it is not possible, so picked what I think will be interesting.
These Baltic  countries that we are visiting has a lot if history with the war and soviet occupation, it is impossible to keep up with the amount of information that has been shared by our guides.
One of three squares in Riga.
National costumes of Latvia.

Medieval street.
Art Deco buildings
The soldiers barracks, longest building in Riga, now shops, cafes, etc.
These three buildings are known as the three brothers, dating from late 16th century to 18th, White to green house.
This black cat has a fabled tale, some merchants were not allowed to mix with the rich and enter certain buildings, so when this merchant got rich he built this grand house and put two cats with bums pointing to each other, as the saying goes, piss on you and your snobbery.
Russian Orthodox

We also visited the people's market, very interesting.
Good variety of smoked meats, cheese, fish, etc.
Smoked fish and caviar.
This concludes our tour of Riga, tomorrow we head to Estonia, 290ks, by our same driver and guide from Latvia.
