After we visited the Mercedes Benz museum, we drove to Ludwigsburg to have lunch and visit the Xmas markets. After lunch we drove to Bamberg, Alex just loved driving on the autobahn doing up to 190kms/hr legally, I preferred to close my eyes.
After getting to Bamberg, although it was only 4.30pm, it was very dark and finding a place to park was challenging. We booked into our hotel, then walked into town to the famous brewery, which smokes it’s own beer, I cannot say the boys really enjoyed the beer but the food was great.

This was my meal a stuffed onion with gravy and mash, very enjoyable.
After our meal we went for a walk , back to hotel. After breakfast in the morning we went to the Xmas markets that opened at 0930hrs and then explored the town, walked into little Venice and saw
the sights, these smaller cities have so much charm and we are really enjoying what there is on offer.
The Xmas decorations are just wonderful.

In the morning we were greeted with a parking fine, oh the joys of driving in Europe.
